Job adverts rarely mention pay. No interviewer says salaries arrive three months late, and you learn there is no appointment letter only after you start. Until now that knowledge travelled by word of mouth. ChakriKemon puts it where everyone can see it.

The idea came from a discussion in a Facebook group for job seekers, where many people asked for exactly this.

• Reviews and ratings: pay, work-life balance, management, culture and growth.
• Workplace facts: whether pay arrives on time, festival bonuses, overtime, provident fund, appointment letters.
• Salary ranges by job title.
• Interview experiences and questions.
• Rankings by sector, and side-by-side comparison of two employers.
• A section for teachers covering schools, colleges, madrasas and coaching centres.

• Signing in needs an email, not a password. The email is never published.
• Reviews show a job title only, never a name, picture or email.
• Salaries are never shown individually. A range appears only once at least three people have reported the same title at the same employer.
• If you verify with a work email, we do not keep that address, only a one-way fingerprint of it.
• IP addresses are not stored either, only a hash.

No review is removed, hidden or pushed down in exchange for money. If companies ever pay for a service, all they will be able to do is reply. We state this publicly because the whole site depends on it.

Every employer has a right of reply. If a review breaks the guidelines, report it through the contact page. We acknowledge within 72 hours and usually decide within 7 days.
